Teacher's Biography

Teacher MADHU  Mahadevan was born on 17th June 1967 in Tindivanam, Tamilnadu, India.

Madhu was initiated into Carnatic Music at 16 by his mother, Mrs. Mangayarkarasi Mahadevan, an established South Indian Classical Singer and Dancer of yesteryears.

In 1993, he rendered a series of Devotional songs on Lord Nemili Bala, and Madhu is the primary music director and singer for Nemili Bala Peetam, Tamilnadu. He was blessed with the prestigious BALA RATHNA award given by Nemili Shri Ezhilmani and Nemili Shri Babaji, noted poets of the century in the Tamil

 He started his light music band “MADHUDEVA SUPERHITS” in 1994, traveled almost all over Tamilnadu, and completed 500 shows until 1999.

Madhu was the founder and mentor of Asia’s first all-women music band in India named “THE GIRLS ORCHESTRA” in 2000. It became a popular, unique, and defined progressive live concert. This reversed the traditional method by making all instruments played by girls with male singers only joining them. He has completed more than 1K shows within seven years, covering Asia and The Middle East countries.

In 2003, he began a career as a Music Director in Tamil cinema through the Kollywood feature film Thiruvakkarai Vakkira Kali Amman by tuning the songs, scoring, and rerecording music. As a playback singer, he sang a duet song in the Tamil feature film “Naalu policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum” in 2015.

In April 2019, he joined hands with Super Leads Music, Toronto, Canada as a vocal teacher and did several Tamil Cinema covers.
